  At the end of this course, students must: To frame the concept of Financial Management in theoretical terms. Prepare the economic and financial diagnosis. Define the basic instruments of Financial Management. Financial statements. Calculate and assess the company's risk. Formulate an adequate management of the company's cash flow/availabilities. Evaluate the various financing options and formulate and implement the financing strategies that suit the company's objectives. Choose the capital structure and profit distribution policy that allow for growth and shareholder value. Analyze profitability and sustainability. Prepare the medium and long-term financial plan, implementing and controlling the process.

• MetodologiaMethodology

  TM 1: In the Expository teaching methodology, the various contents of the program are exposed and explained. TM2: In the discussion of cases, in practical classes, real situations will be used to exemplify the way of applying the management tools taught. The IAPMEI spreadsheet and the manual to support its preparation will be made available. There will also be classes in which students will be taught in groups. The group work will be applied to real companies, which should be developed fundamentally outside the classroom, namely all the necessary data and information research. The group work will be, at the end, the subject of an oral presentation. The Knowledge Assessment system: The evaluation of the course will consist of the following elements: A written test (50%); One group work (40%); Attendance (10%)
