ApresentaçãoPresentationThe curricular unit of History of Architecture IV focuses on the decisive moments in the construction of the history of architecture of the Contemporary Age, addressing the movements, authors and reference works, since the beginning of the 18th century, passing in more depth by the XIX , until the twentieth century, with the objective of developing in the student a critical and informed thinking fundamental to the interpretation of contemporary architectures and fundamental in terms of historiographical, theoretical and projectual research.

MetodologiaMethodologyM1: Each issue to be developed should be framed in the intellectual and cultural context in general, and in the artistic context in particular. M2: Drawing will be used as it provides a better understanding of the architectural object and is a fundamental instrument in the formulation of its synthesis. The reflection on the architectural object will also be made so that its reading provides solutions that can be re-balanced in the discipline of Design. M3: Students are called to participate in all classes either through more direct answers to specific questions or through reflections that emerge from the current speech. M4: The teacher will monitor the individual assignments. M5: The assessment will be based on the following items: 5.1- One written tests: 40%; 5.2- Research work: 43%; 5.3- Assiduity and active participation 30%
