    This course aims to develop the general legal bases acquired by students in previous training and transmit them a refined scientific reasoning that makes them autonomously manage to consistently apply the knowledge acquired in the business entities where they work, or even create new scientific thinking that comes contribute to the dogmatic discussion related to the area in question. It is a fundamental subject in the respective cycle of studies since it is essential for students to understand, master, interpret and think about the normative provisions of the laboral sector, as this is one of the predominant spheres of a humam resources manager.

    1. Object, scope, content and functions of Labor Law.   2. Historical evolution and sources of Labor Law; corresponding font hierarchy.   3. Worker and employer; notions, characteristics, rights and duties.   4. Notion and characteristics of the Individual Employment Contract.   4. Distinction from other legal figures, with emphasis on the Provision of Services and the civil service employment contract; the presumption of the existence of an employment contract.   5. Types of the Individual Employment Contract.   7. Fundamental labor rights.   8. System of rewards, rewards and retribution.   9. Working Time, limits, exceptions, vacations, holidays and absences.   10. Termination of employment contract and respective modalities.   11. Collective labor relations.   12. Worker-student and vocational training.   12. Labor relations protection system.   13. Labor-legal policy.   14. Principles of labor law.    
  • ObjectivosObjectives
    Foster advanced understanding of scientific and practical thinking in Labor Law. Promote the acquisition of adequate knowledge in the context of a human resources structure.   Analysis and understanding of the problems that human resource managers face in the face of certain business structures and employee characteristics.
