    The field of action of this UC should address theoretical macroeconomic models and the analysis of the main determinants of short- and medium-term economic variables, discuss alternatives of action for economic policymakers and the general impacts of the policies of the main economic blocs. The area of expertise of this UC is situated in the use of basic analytical tools of Macroeconomics, in order to allow the student to recognize and interpret the problems of the regional, national and international economy. The policy area is found throughout the economic sphere. Its relevance is revealed because it is a structuring UC for Business Management, especially in decision making.
