ApresentaçãoPresentationUC Projecto IX continues, in terms of what is the structural element of the architect's training - the design act - the path of the second cycle of the integrated master's degree. Following the precept of learning by doing. The student will develop a series of theoretical and practical exercises in different scales. This presupposes that the graduate student masters both the production of the architectural project "object" and understands the need, as a future master's degree, to master knowledge, ideas and methodologies that allow him to raise his practice as an architect to a higher level. erudition and quality of results required by the title. The UC Project IX is the third moment in which the student is exposed and explained the necessary paths to complete the master's degree, which will be followed by Dissertation/project work, culminating in the public defense of his dissertation.

MetodologiaMethodologyThe Project IX CU is a theoretical-practical discipline. In this sense, alongside the personalized follow-up of the development of practical works, from their beginning to their presentation, there is a theoretical teaching practice, where specific themes are addressed to the exercises in progress, in parallel with some of the universal themes of architecture. The student's participation and attendance is particularly important, given that the synthesis constructed between what is directly applicable to the current exercise and the acquisition of structural concepts for the discipline of architecture is, finally, the totality of the material proper to the architectural project. Continuous assessment with classification from 0 to 20 values; the presence of the student in 70% of the teaching hours will be mandatory; the student is expected to actively participate in course activities organized beyond the restricted space and time of the UC, such as workshops, free courses, study visits.
