    Within the scope of the study plan for this course, the program of this discipline includes knowledge in the area of Gymnastics, guided by feasibility criteria, in line with the programs of the Ministry of Education, referring to the various years of education, basic and secondary and correspond to the bases and basic elements of different gymnastic modalities (Artistic Gymnastics, Acrobatic Gymnastics, Trampolines, Rhythmic Gymnastics). It presents an educational philosophy based on fun, physical aptitude and fundamentals that constitutes a basic methodology for the development of motor literacy

    CP1. Historical and institutional context of gymnastics; CP2. Bases and Fundamentals of Gymnastics: Educational Philosophy, Basic Concepts, Posture, Attitude, Body Segmentation; Positions; Directions; Movements; PMG; Games: The Game as a method of intervention; Choreography and music/movement: construction of a choreographic scheme; CP3. Terminology - Requirement and Rules; CP4. Gym equipment; CP5. National Physical Education Programs and Codes of Points for each Gymnastics discipline; CP6. Organizational structure of a class. Safety and risk reduction in the intervention: General Technical Elements: Balances/Technical Elements with 2 and 3 gymnasts, Gymnastics Jumping/Running/Exercises to adapt to the mini-trampoline and horse jumping/Jumping simple vertical/longitudinal rotations/transverse rotations/axis rotation sets/Manipulations of portable devices and choreographic elements

    OA1. To know, interpret and correctly apply knowledge in basic gymnastic activities; OA2. Know, interpret, conceive and apply a Gymnastic session / class structure for school children and young people; OA3. To know, interpret and correctly apply the teacher's forms of intervention; OA4. Know, describe, intervene and correctly execute the gymnastic elements covered; OA5. Know the laws and rules essential to the practice of gymnastics in an organized way and their application in a situation of formal practice; OA6.
