May 1 to 19, 2026

Local do Evento:
2nd-year MIA/ISMAT students present Drawing IV works focused on the spatial interpretation of color.
ISMAT hosts the exhibition "COR, ARTE E ESPAÇO," a showcase featuring works by 2nd-year Integrated Master's in Architecture (MIA) students from the Drawing IV course. The central theme of the exhibition is the in-depth study of color, exploring its ability to define and transform the built environment.
The project began with a rigorous analysis of works by painter Wassily Kandinsky, challenging students to engage in an exercise of chromatic interpretation and decoding. This process culminated in the translation of pictorial concepts into architectural spatialities, where color moves beyond mere coating to become the defining structural element of space. The exhibition demonstrates the students' creative maturity in linking art theory with architectural design, revealing new ways of perceiving and designing space.
This work is financed by national funds through FCT - Fundação para a Ciência e a Tecnologia, I.P., under the Strategic Project with the references UID/04008:Centro de Investigação em Arquitetura, Urbanismo e Design.
