Creative confrontation between new generations and established designers in Portimão
The Casa Manuel Teixeira Gomes, in Portimão, will host from December 18, 2025, to January 30, 2026, the exhibition “Creators Unplugged – Young vs Old Blood,” which places side by side works by students of the Communication Design course at ISMAT and projects by the Portuguese agency Deadinbeirute.
The showcase brings together posters, illustrations, visual identities, and different graphic proposals developed in an academic context by d&Sign.Ismat students, in dialogue with the portfolio of Deadinbeirute, known for its experimental and graphic approach to visual communication. The exhibition proposes a friendly confrontation between “young blood” and “old blood,” underlining continuities, contrasts, and influences between generations of designers.
The inauguration is scheduled for December 18, at 6:00 PM, open to the public, at Casa Manuel Teixeira Gomes. During the exhibition period, the space can be visited during regular opening hours, with free admission.
“Creators Unplugged – Young vs Old Blood” is an initiative of d&Sign.Ismat / ISMAT – Instituto Superior Manuel Teixeira Gomes, in partnership with Deadinbeirute and with the support of the Portimão City Council, reinforcing the link between design education, professional practice, and the city's cultural programming.
