The traveling exhibition features the ten finalist works from the 5th edition of the award, which included the participation of national and international universities.

The traveling exhibition of the ten finalist works of the Luiz Conceição International Architecture Award opened on June 30th in the atrium of the Lagos Town Hall building, featuring the panels submitted to the competition and promoted by ISMAT's Architecture course.

The exhibition provides public visibility to the graphic, conceptual, and technical quality of the proposals distinguished in the 5th edition of this award, which was established to recognize the academic merit of Architecture students from national and international institutions.

This edition featured students from several higher education institutions, namely the Instituto Superior Manuel Teixeira Gomes, the University of Beira Interior, the University of Évora, the Instituto Superior Técnico, the University of Applied Sciences Erfurt, and the Cracow University of Technology, highlighting the award's international scope and the diversity of pedagogical contexts represented.

The jury for this 5th edition consisted of Alexandra Paio (ISCTE), Ana Moreira (Faculty of Architecture of the University of Lisbon), José Carvalho and Nadir Bonaccorso (ISMAT), Silvia Covarino from the German University in Cairo, who chaired the jury, Vítor Lourenço, representing the Algarve Regional Section of the Order of Architects, and Rada Doytcheva, a member of the Chicago architects association, ensuring a plural and international evaluation panel.

The exhibition will be on display in the atrium of the Lagos Town Hall until July 10th, later traveling to Lagoa, Vila do Bispo, and Portimão, on dates to be announced, reinforcing the connection between academia, municipalities, and the community through the public dissemination of the finalist works.
