ISMAT at Start Work 2026: Build your future with us!
From February 4 to 6, 2026, the Portimão Arena will host the 8th edition of Start Work - Education, Vocational Training, Entrepreneurship, and Employment Fair, an event that reaffirms ISMAT's commitment to academic guidance and employability in the Algarve region.
Start Work serves as a convergence platform for young students, adults seeking career transitions, and the business community. Over three days, the event promotes direct contact with educational institutions and companies, offering a comprehensive overview of training opportunities and the real-world demands of the contemporary labor market.
ISMAT will be present with a dedicated space showcasing its academic programs for the 2026/2027 academic year, including Bachelor's degrees, Master's degrees, CTeSPs (Higher Professional Technical Courses), and Post-graduate programs. At the Institute's stand, visitors can clarify doubts regarding admission pathways, scholarship schemes, and career prospects, with the support of faculty and students who share their firsthand experience of studying in the heart of Portimão.
In addition to the exhibition area, the Start Work 2026 program includes practical workshops, lectures on Artificial Intelligence, soft skills, and information sessions on accessing Higher Education. The initiative also features cultural performances and technical demonstrations, highlighting the importance of lifelong learning and innovation in one's professional journey.
