The university’s main hall hosts the exhibition "Nuno Portas Visual Glossary", featuring work developed by second-year students from ISMAT’s Integrated Master’s in Architecture (MIA) during the Project IV course (2025–2026 academic year). The exhibition also extends to Room 2.1, where architectural drawings of the iconic Barata dos Santos House, located in Vila Viçosa, are on display alongside portraits of Nuno Portas created by the students.
Coordinated by Professor Cláudia Gaspar, PhD, and Mário Luz, MSc, the initiative offers an immersion into the work and thinking of Nuno Portas. Through drawing and visual representation, future architects explored geometry, housing, and Portas’ impact on Portugal’s urban culture. The exhibition reflects MIA ISMAT’s commitment to practical learning and to the appreciation of Portuguese architectural heritage.
The opening ceremony will take place at 3:00 PM in the atrium and Room 2.1.
