The Instituto Superior Manuel Teixeira Gomes (ISMAT) hosted the 5th Law Congress on 27 and 28 November 2025.
The event brought together specialists, academics, and students in a space for reflection on the contemporary challenges of Law, focusing on the intersection between technology, society, and urban space.
Throughout the two days, the panels stood out for their critical analysis of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Tax Law and its ethical challenges. The dynamics of "Law and the City" and the limits of freedom of expression in the digital age were also discussed.
The congress concluded with the launch of issue no. 22 of "JURISMAT – Revista Jurídica", reinforcing ISMAT’s commitment to scientific research.
The event once again established itself as a key meeting point for the exchange of legal knowledge.
