Communication Design tudents and professores welcome Portimão High School Multimedia Students.
On January 20, Communication Design students and faculty at ISMAT welcomed students from the Multimedia Technology Course at Portimão High School.
The visit was designed to showcase the course's work and bridge the two fields, as part of a challenge for Algarve secondary schools to tour the exhibition at Casa Manuel Teixeira Gomes and join a design-related workshop.
The day began at Casa Manuel Teixeira Gomes, where projects created by Communication Design students are currently on display. The group then moved to ISMAT's facilities for a presentation of the Bio Labs and hands-on experimentation methodologies. It wrapped up with a short typography workshop, allowing participants to directly engage with design processes.
Overall, the visit gave students a comprehensive view of the course and highlighted how Design and Multimedia intersect in education and professional practice.
