The initiative highlighted the partnership between ISMAT and the Portuguese Football Federation, promoting sport and strengthening ties with the academic community.
A
delegation from the National Under-21 Football Team visited ISMAT as part of the Bachelor’s Degree in Sports Science. The aim of the event was to promote the qualifying match for the European Championship to be held in 2027.
Present at the event were
two international players (Mateus Fernandes and André Gomes), as well as Canal 11 from the Portuguese Football Federation.
A talk with both players was held, and tickets for the
Portugal vs Bulgaria match were offered to the entire academic community. This was yet another community engagement event carried out in partnership with major national sports institutions.
