Article on goal dynamics in the main European football leagues is part of GIFUT - ISMAT research and has been published in the scientific journal Retos
Several lecturers from ISMAT's Sports Science degree programme (Carlos Almeida, José Jorge, Ricardo Gonçalves, Pedro Vargas and Rui Batalau) and a lecturer from the Polytechnic Institute of Beja (Paulo Paixão) have published another scientific article as part of the work carried out by GIFUT - ISMAT (ISMAT's Football and Futsal Research and Training Group). The paper is entitled ‘Goal-scoring dynamics in the Big-5 European football leagues: Situational and sex-based effects on match outcome’ and was published in the journal Retos.
