A retrospective of the first three years of the Degree in Fashion and Textile Design and Production, blending creativity, technique, and regional identity.
ISMAT in partnership with the Museum of Costume (Museu do Traje) in São Brás de Alportel, presents the exhibition “Moda em Construção” (Fashion in Construction), on display from April 11 to May 28, 2026. This showcase brings together a diverse selection of projects developed by students of the Fashion and Textile Design and Production Degree, reflecting the formative, creative, and technical journey achieved throughout the first three years of the course.
The exhibition features original drawings, upcycling creations, and signature pieces such as coats, skirts, and dresses that highlight the technical precision and mastery of future designers. By bridging experimentation with a contemporary vision of fashion, the show emphasizes the connection between academia and the local community, demonstrating how student projects dialogue with the cultural and social context of the Algarve region and the territory.
