The activity was led by teachers Gisele Nepomuceno, from ISMAT, and Graça Martins, from IEFP-Portimão, providing an enriching experience.

On 2 April, first-year students from the Fashion and Textile Design and Production degree took part in a joint activity with students from the Aesthetics course at the Institute for Employment and Vocational Training (IEFP) in Portimão.

The aim of the initiative was to integrate the skills acquired on both courses, combining the History of Fashion with beauty and make-up practices, which are fundamental for creating a look suitable for a fashion show.

Organised in pairs and trios, the students developed complementary and viable aesthetic proposals for presentation at a fashion show. During the process, they considered aspects such as hair, make-up, skin care, nails and other essential elements to enhance the look to be shown.

The activity was led by teachers Gisele Nepomuceno, from ISMAT, and Graça Martins, from IEFP-Portimão, providing an enriching experience. As well as improving technical skills, the collaboration between the students also favoured the development of interpersonal relationships, an essential aspect for their future professional performance.
