I ISMAT Webinar on Domestic Violence Gathers Over 300 Participants

A joint Psychology and Law initiative to break the silence and strengthen the support network for victims.

The direction of the Master’s in Work and Occupational Health Psychology organized the I WEBinar on domestic violence in coordination with the ISMAT Law degree. It had 312 online participants. Domestic violence is a reality that affects thousands of people, often in a silent and invisible way.

Recognizing the signs, understanding the different types of violence, and knowing how to act can make all the difference in the protection and support of victims. In this webinar, the phenomenon of domestic violence was addressed in a clear and sensitive manner, promoting awareness, prevention, and the strengthening of support networks.

Topics such as warning signs, the emotional and social impact of violence, victims' rights, and available resources for help and intervention were discussed. Aimed at professionals, students, and the general community, this meeting intended to create a space for information, reflection, and sharing, contributing to a safer, more empathetic, and conscious society.

Moderated by Prof. André Tavares Rodrigues, Director of the Master’s in Work and Occupational Health Psychology at ISMAT.
