The second stop of the exhibition took place at Casa Manuel Teixeira Gomes, highlighting the finalists' works before moving to other municipalities.
Casa Manuel Teixeira Gomes, in Portimão, hosted the traveling exhibition featuring the ten finalist works of the Luiz Conceição International Architecture Award, which was open to the public from September 9 to October 8, 2026.
Promoted by ISMAT's Architecture degree, the initiative publicly displayed the competition panels, highlighting the graphic, conceptual, and technical quality of the proposals recognized in the 5th edition of this award.
Created to celebrate the academic merit of architecture students, this edition featured entries from students across various national and international higher education institutions, such as ISMAT, Universidade da Beira Interior, Universidade de Évora, Instituto Superior Técnico, University of Applied Sciences Erfurt (Germany), and Cracow University of Technology (Poland).
The evaluation of the proposals was carried out by an international jury comprising Alexandra Paio (ISCTE), Ana Moreira (Faculty of Architecture of the University of Lisbon), José Carvalho and Nadir Bonaccorso (ISMAT), Vítor Lourenço (Algarve Regional Section of the Order of Architects), Rada Doytcheva (Chicago Association of Architects), and chaired by Silvia Covarino (German University in Cairo).
