The exhibition's first stop took place in the town hall atrium until July 10th, giving visibility to the finalist works before moving to other municipalities.

The traveling exhibition of the ten finalist works of the Luiz Conceição International Architecture Award, promoted by ISMAT's Integrated Master's in Architecture, closed its first stop on July 10th in the atrium of the Lagos Town Hall.

By being on display in a public space with daily foot traffic from dozens of citizens, the exhibition provided hundreds of people with the opportunity to see firsthand the graphic, conceptual, and technical quality of the proposals distinguished in this 5th edition.

The award, established to recognize the academic merit of architecture students, featured the participation of young people from various national and international academies, namely ISMAT, the University of Beira Interior, the University of Évora, the Instituto Superior Técnico, the University of Applied Sciences Erfurt (Germany), and the Cracow University of Technology (Poland).

The evaluation of the proposals was carried out by a jury composed of Alexandra Paio (ISCTE), Ana Moreira (FAUL), José Carvalho and Nadir Bonaccorso (ISMAT), Vítor Lourenço (Order of Architects - SR Algarve), Rada Doytcheva (Chicago), and chaired by Silvia Covarino (German University in Cairo).

Following this stop in Lagos, the exhibition is preparing to continue its traveling journey through the municipalities of Lagoa, Vila do Bispo, and Portimão, on dates to be announced, maintaining the goal of bringing academic talent closer to the local community.
