ISMAT held its traditional annual ceremony of “ISMAT Day”, an event of high institutional significance that brought together students, graduates, faculty, staff, and strategic partners. Under the theme of celebrating merit and strengthening community bonds, the day was marked by the solemn presentation of diplomas to new bachelor's and master's graduates, the awarding of excellence scholarships, and musical moments performed by ISMATUNA.
The event featured speeches by the Director of ISMAT, Professor Rui Manuel Loureiro, PhD, and the Executive Administrator, Professor Célia Gonçalves Pires, PhD, who reaffirmed the commitment to regional development and research. One of the highlights was the Wisdom Lecture “The University and the challenges of Artificial Intelligence”, delivered by the Magnificent Rector of Universidade Lusófona, Professor José Bragança de Miranda, PhD, who debated technological innovation in education. The sense of belonging to the community was also shared by the presidents of the institute's Students and Alumni Associations.
