The "[RE] Imagine Fashion - Extended" event, held on June 26th, brought student collections from ISMAT and academies in Spain and Lithuania to the runway.
The ISMAT Fashion Show, titled [RE] Imagine Fashion - Extended and held on June 26th, was one of the highlights of the academic calendar for the Bachelor's degree in Fashion and Textile Design and Production, bringing together students, faculty, guests, and the public in a celebration of creativity, experimentation, and excellence in fashion education.
The runway became a stage to showcase projects developed by 2nd-year and graduating students, highlighting different creative approaches, technical skill levels, and aesthetic languages.
The show made it possible to follow the evolution of the students' educational journey, ranging from experimental and exploratory proposals to more mature collections that reflect authorial identity, conceptual research, and mastery of design and production processes.
The featured collections revealed a wide diversity of inspirations, materials, silhouettes, and garment construction techniques, demonstrating the students' ability to interpret contemporary trends while maintaining a focus on sustainability, innovation, and experimentation.
Each outfit presented was the result of an intense process of research, creative development, pattern making, tailoring, and styling, reflecting the work accomplished throughout the academic year.
The fashion show also featured the participation of international students from ESSDM – Escuela Superior Sevilla de Moda (Spain), UDIT – Universidad de Diseño, Innovación y Tecnología (Spain), and the Vilnius Academy of Arts (Lithuania), whose presence enriched the event through the sharing of different cultural and creative perspectives.
The diversity of approaches to fashion design contributed to a show defined by dialogue between different schools, teaching methodologies, and aesthetic identities, reinforcing the international dimension of the initiative.
In front of an enthusiastic audience, the young designers demonstrated not only technical and creative skills, but also communication, organization, and teamwork abilities—essential elements for meeting the challenges of a constantly evolving sector.
