Lígia Nascimento reflects on Technoeustress in Remote Work: A Longitudinal Study on Higher Education Lecturers.

Professor Lígia Nascimento, from the Department of Business Sciences and Information Technologies (DCETI), researcher at Intrepid Lab/CETRAD, and lecturer in the Human Resource Management, Business Management, and Master's in Work and Occupational Health Psychology, published a scientific article on 1 March in the prestigious journal *Education and Information Technologies*, indexed and classified as Q1 (96%) in the SCOPUS ranking. The journal is published by the renowned Springer publisher.

The article, titled Techno-eustress under remote work: A longitudinal study in higher education teachers, explores the positive side of technostress (its lesser-studied aspect) in higher education lecturers. Through a longitudinal study with data collection at two distinct points in time, quantitative methods (including structural equation modelling) were applied to a matched sample of 712 lecturers. From a dynamic and evolutionary perspective, the study seeks to understand how different factors influence technoeustress and how it impacts job satisfaction and work performance. The research offers important theoretical contributions and practical management guidelines aimed at promoting well-being and productivity in technology-driven environments.

The article was co-authored by Professor Dr Christopher Califf, a renowned American researcher in this field, who had previously collaborated and published with Professor Lígia Nascimento.
