Work Psychology students conducted training on psychological boundaries and mental health awareness in organizational contexts.
On March 26th, Alice Salvador and Sarah Santos, 2nd-year students of the Master’s in Work and Occupational Health Psychology at ISMAT, led a training session for CASLAS employees in Lagos. The initiative, part of their academic internship and supervised by Professor André Tavares Rodrigues, addressed the theme "Promoting Mental Health at Work – from devaluation to respect for psychological boundaries."
The training focused on the importance of recognizing signs of burnout and creating an organizational culture that prioritizes psychological well-being. This direct community intervention demonstrates the practical side of ISMAT’s education, empowering future psychologists to intervene in real-world contexts while raising institution awareness about the strategic importance of occupational health and individual limits.
