Students and alumni visited the OPP headquarters in Lisbon, becoming the first higher education group to access the Order's facilities.
Around 30 ISMAT students and alumni took part in a pioneering initiative promoted by OPP Student Ambassador Karolina Costa, in collaboration with the Continuing Professional Development (DPC) department of the Order of Portuguese Psychologists (OPP). The group was welcomed at the Order's headquarters in Lisbon by President Sofia Ramalho, in a session that also featured psychologists Ana Leonor Baptista and Pedro Félix.
The day included a morning briefing on professional access and the Junior Professional Year, followed by a guided tour of the headquarters—an unprecedented opportunity for higher education students. Throughout the visit, participants gained insight into the institutional processes shaping their future as psychologists. Described as a unique and enlightening experience, this visit reinforces ISMAT's commitment to bridging the gap between its students, regulatory bodies, and the professional market.
