The study focuses on an online intervention through home-based exercises for women with breast cancer undergoing chemotherapy
The Bachelor’s Degree in Sport Sciences at ISMAT, through the Programme Director (Professor Rui Batalau, PhD) and former students of the course (PhD candidate Pedro Ramos, Master’s students Diana Koshman and João Pais), is a partner in a research project in the field of Exercise and Oncology.
This research project, funded under the Fazer + Programme of the Lusófona Education Group, has published its first article in the journal *Frontiers in Oncology* (Breast Cancer section), entitled “Home-Combo: an online home-based exercise intervention for women with breast cancer undergoing neoadjuvant chemotherapy: study protocol for a 2-arm pragmatic randomised controlled trial”.
