The welcome sessions were attended by the institute's leadership, course directors, and the Students' Association.
ISMAT officially welcomed around 300 new students who will be attending the institution in the 2026/27 academic year, during the traditional higher education welcome sessions.
The presentations were led by the director of the institute, Rui Loureiro, accompanied by the respective course directors and the president of the Students' Association.
This event marked the beginning of a new chapter in the students' lives, promoting their direct integration into the campus and the academic spirit of Portimão.
With the joint support of the leadership, faculty, and student union, the new student community got to know the support structures, learning spaces, and social and cultural dynamics that will accompany them throughout their university journey.
