Professor Nuno Tavares da Costa presents "Novas Casas Portuguesas: Bak Gordon" at Espaço Caleidoscópio, in Lisbon.
On May 8th, at 6:30 PM, Espaço Caleidoscópio (Quinta da Fonte do Anjo, Olivais) will host the presentation of the book "Novas Casas Portuguesas: Bak Gordon." This launch is particularly significant for the ISMAT academic community, as the book was coordinated by Nuno Tavares da Costa, Assistant Professor of the Integrated Master's in Architecture (MIA.ISMAT), who also authored the edition's preface.
The work provides an in-depth and detailed analysis of contemporary residential architecture from the prestigious Bak Gordon studio, exploring the complex relationships between design concept and its final materialization. Through this critical lens, the book contributes to the debate on the identity of the Portuguese house today. The coordination of this editorial project by an ISMAT professor reinforces the institution's commitment to research and the promotion of architectural excellence in Portugal.
