Undergraduate Psychology students present poster at the Congress celebrating the 25th anniversary of the Portuguese Society of Clinical Sexology
Jessica Palmeiro, Livia Russu, Ana Catarina Martins, and Micaela Gonçalves, undergraduate students in Psychology, represented ISMAT at the Congress marking the 25th anniversary of the Portuguese Society of Clinical Sexology.
In addition to participating in the congress, the students presented a poster resulting from a research project entitled “Satisfaction in Romantic Relationships among Portuguese Adults: Preliminary Results from the Development of the Romantic Relationship Satisfaction Scale.”
This project, developed throughout two course units, aimed to design and validate a self-report instrument for assessing satisfaction in romantic relationships, under the supervision of Professor Dr Marina Carvalho and MSc Andreia Conceição. Involving also MSc Mária Viegas and Professor Dr Carla Tomás, this participation in a congress once again demonstrates the course’s commitment to linking theory with practice and to producing work with implications for future professional practice.
