ISMAT Psychology students gained first-hand experience of the lives of children and youth in care in Alvor.
Students from the Deviant Behavior Psychology course, part of the Master’s in Work and Occupational Health Psychology, visited a childcare center in Alvor with Professor Doctor André Tavares Rodrigues on December 10.
This study visit is part of ISMAT’s community engagement efforts, offering students the opportunity to experience firsthand the social reality of children and youth affected by neglect and abuse in childhood.
