ISMAT students and local shops join forces to bring Fashion Design to the city windows.

Third-year students of the Bachelor's Degree in Fashion and Textile Design and Production, as part of the Fashion Production II course taught by Professor Gisele Nepomuceno, presented looks and accessories developed throughout the course in the shop windows of La Moda, Helle Dress Code, Flor Tropical, and the Giselle Chaves Studio hair salon, located in the center of Portimão.

This is the second edition of the initiative, which this year saw the participation of a larger number of shopkeepers, who kindly provided their shop windows so that students could design and explore the display of their outfits, as well as the surrounding setting. The action promotes a global vision of the professional practice of future designers, encouraging an understanding of the importance of the product at the point of sale and its relationship with other fundamental elements, such as lighting, setting, and interaction with the public.

The support of the local retail community was essential to the success of the initiative, as they made their spaces available and welcomed the students and their work with great enthusiasm. The results of this collaboration can be seen in the participating stores until February 2nd.
