Computer Engineering and CITAI–INCUBE brought together tech and sustainability experts to inspire future engineers.
On 24 March 2026, the Instituto Superior Manuel Teixeira Gomes (ISMAT) hosted Tech Connect ISMAT, an event that brought together students, technology companies, and the innovation ecosystem, strengthening the connection between academia and the labour market.
The initiative featured companies from the Information Technology sector, providing students with a close and up-to-date perspective on the industry.
Ev3ry – Digital Solutions presented innovative projects in the field of digital development and shared its experience in the technology market.
In turn, Savearth, represented by Cláudio Coelho and Ricardo Fortuna, highlighted the importance of integrating technology and sustainability, showcasing solutions with a positive environmental impact.
The event was promoted by the Computer Engineering programme at ISMAT, in collaboration with CITAI–INCUBE, the institution’s technology-based incubator, currently under development, which aims to foster the creation of innovative projects and strengthen the link between academia and the business sector.
The session concluded with a Q&A, discussion, and networking moment, allowing direct interaction between participants and guest professionals, as well as the exploration of future collaboration opportunities.
More than just a space for knowledge sharing, Tech Connect ISMAT established itself as a strategic initiative to inspire students, encourage entrepreneurial thinking, and reinforce the connection between higher education, technology, and innovation.
