ISMAT students create sustainable brand strategy for Lagos Marina

Identifying possible pathways for the brand with the aim of strengthening its commitment to sustainability

“Marlagos, Towards Sustainability at Sea and on Land” was the theme of the event which, on 11 November, brought together students from the Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Design at ISMAT with Mar Lagos and Bluegarve, as well as key regional stakeholders, to discuss the future of the Mar Lagos group in its journey towards greater sustainability.

In the morning, the students led an activity with various stakeholders, gathering insights into how they perceive Mar Lagos, its relationship with the city of Lagos, sustainability, and other topics relevant to the group’s future development.

In the afternoon, the work continued with the participation of several company employees, allowing a deeper exploration of internal perspectives regarding the challenges and opportunities facing Mar Lagos, both on land and at sea.

The students’ ultimate goal will be to present a systemic, strategic and visual vision for the new direction of Mar Lagos, integrating the contributions collected throughout the day and identifying possible pathways to reinforce the company’s commitment to sustainability.
