    The course unit Audiovisual Production Laboratory I is of a theoretical-practical nature, focusing on the conceptualisation, experimentation, and production of audiovisual content applied to fashion and textile design. Its scope integrates the creative, technical, and communicational dimensions, offering students their first contact with digital tools for audiovisual and editorial production, namely Adobe After Effects and Adobe InDesign. The course is particularly relevant as it fosters the acquisition of essential skills for the promotion, dissemination, and valorisation of fashion projects, across digital platforms (social media, websites) and broadcast media.

      Conceptual and technical foundations of audiovisual production Introduction to motion graphics and digital animation for fashion communication. Principles of visual narrative, rhythm, and audiovisual composition. The fashion model as a performer in visual and narrative communication. Digital tools and practical experimentation Introduction to Adobe After Effects: Practical exercises in motion graphics for fashion promotion. Introduction to Adobe InDesign: Structuring visual and textual content in digital publications. Applied projects Development of a promotional motion graphic for the student’s individual brand, adapted for social media and television. Conception and production of a digital interdisciplinary eBook using Adobe InDesign for fashion project communication. Group presentations and critique sessions, encouraging collective reflection and analysis of creative processes.  
  • ObjectivosObjectives
      Understand the conceptual, technical, and creative foundations of audiovisual and editorial production applied to fashion. Explore and apply the potential of Adobe After Effects (animation and motion graphics) and Adobe InDesign (layout and editorial design). Develop planning, conceptualisation, and production skills for a promotional motion graphic adapted to social media and television. Create and structure a digital interdisciplinary eBook using Adobe InDesign as a tool for presenting and communicating fashion projects. Integrate visual, typographic, chromatic, and sound elements in the construction of audiovisual and editorial narratives. Exercise creativity, critical thinking, and autonomy in producing innovative visual content aligned with brand identity.

    The course adopts a theoretical-practical, learning-by-doing approach, combining:   Expository sessions to introduce key technical and aesthetic concepts. Practical exercises in motion graphics and editorial design. Continuous development of individual projects in After Effects and InDesign. Tutorial guidance and group discussions to foster critical reflection and collaborative learning.
