ApresentaçãoPresentationThis Curricular Unit aims to guide students towards knowledge in the area of Expressive Physical Activities, in its various aspects and towards the application of this knowledge in the various learning contexts, especially in the context of the organization of classes aimed at students of school age or training, fundamentally oriented towards a base of initiation or training of young athletes. It is thus intended to provide students with instruments that allow them to make the most of the material and pedagogical conditions of the different fields of action found, developing physical quality activities based on practical and scientific knowledge of Body Expression and Dance, in the domain of their theoretical and practical assumptions and in the fulfillment of these assumptions in the different contexts of practice in which this expressive area can occur (Teaching / School / Club / Other; Training / Recreation /...).

ObjectivosObjectives1. Know and relate the theoretical foundations of the area in the historical, technical and biomechanical planes; 2. Master the fundamental techniques of the different Dances Traditional (DT); Dances Social Modern (DSM) and Latin American (DLA), both theoretically and practically, showing good levels of execution and observation skills in the analysis/correction of technical gestures; 3. Use information, description and communication languages and techniques appropriate to the different situations of your professional intervention; 4. Identify and know the particularities and procedures of the steps of the teaching methodology of each of the DT; DSM and DLA, suitable for the structuring of each repertoire, especially in teaching/training children and young people;

Continuous Assessment Tests Theoretical (50%) - 4 worksheets (12.5% ¿¿each) Practical (50%) - Construction and reproduction of a group dance choreography (10%) - Average of social dance performances (20%) - Average of traditional dance performances (20%) Resit Exam Tests Theoretical (50%) - Written test covering all material developed in theoretical classes Practical (50%) - Construction and reproduction of a 2-minute dance choreography (10%) - Reproduction of 4 social dances (20%) - Reproduction of 4 traditional dances (20%)
