    This course unit aims to strengthen the student in the adequate use of Portuguese and highlight the differences between oral and written language, through theoretical and practical support. Additionally, the UC aims to develop essential communication skills so that students feel more comfortable and secure to present projects, ideas, products and services. It aims to stimulate critical reading, which is important for the development of skills associated with analytical and critical thinking.

    - Theoretical exposition (TM1) of the main contents of the Syllabus (S); Group dynamic (TM2); Case studies (TM3); Peer Instruction (TM4).   - Continuous Evaluation 1 global written assessment test (35%); Development and presentation of 2 group work assignments; (25%+25%=50%); Active participation during the class dynamics and tasks (15%). The approval in UC by continuous assessment requires a minimum score of 7 points in any of the assessment components.   - Exam Evaluation Students who have not obtained a positive mark in the regular evaluation scheme have access to the exam scheme (100%).
