It develops skills to understand the data lifecycle, the main challenges of Data Science and its role in creating value and supporting decision-making across different application domains.

  • ObjectivosObjectives
    At the end of this course unit, students should be able to: LO1: Understand the different views regarding Data Science, for example, in the context of Management, Science and Society. LO2: Acquire the fundamentals of data science research and applications and the ethical issues involved. LO3: Know the basic tools and principles inherent in the collection, treatment and analysis of data and the presentation of results. LO4: Understand concepts related to Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence.
