Capacity for critical thinking and action on anthropological practices, theories and systems for the world today and tomorrow. Reading skills and critical information organization for the development of critical thinking.

    - General introduction to anthropology and ethnography. - Culture and Innovation: anthropology at the service of creativity. - From ethnographic work to design. - Design for the Real World: Victor Papanek's conception. - Anthropology-Design in practice: industry groups and agencies - The modes of collaboration between Anthropology and Design: design-ethnography and design-anthropology. - Design fiction and innovation in today's society.
  • ObjectivosObjectives
    - Study the main anthropological questions and debates related to Design. - Examine the theoretical constructions, the formation of the concepts and the elaboration of the demonstrations. - Analyze and confront the main ideas of theoretical schools. - To examine the question of the statute of Design anthropology in the human and social sciences: dependence or autonomy? Skills to be developed: - Acquire the basics in design anthropology. - Identify the important moments of the historical evolution of the discipline. - An introduction to the application of the anthropological method in the area of design. - Acquire the ability to observe and interpret anthropological contexts within the scope of innovate and create.
