Drawing I

Communication Design
  • ApresentaçãoPresentation
The subject of Drawing I assumes itself as a tool of thought allowing the student to investigate, understand, interpret, organize and retain knowledge about reality. It allows analyzing sensory experiences using the expression and visualization of mental ideas to represent what surrounds us. It also gives access to understanding about yourself and your relationship with the world.  In this way, Drawing I is an indispensable tool for the investigation and development of projects in all areas of visual communication.
  • ProgramaProgramme
What is Drawing?  A tool of thought: drawing as a process and as an end. The natural impulse for drawing. Drawing combining sensory experiences. Learning to see ¿To understand the relationship between the two cerebral hemispheres and learn to favor visual and perceptual reasoning for a more correct analysis of visual information. The negative space: shape, proportion and relationship between the parts.¿ The three-dimensional space Perspective representation, by hand, of simple shapes and three-dimensional spaces: conical perspective (one, two and three vanishing points); cylindrical projection (oblique, axonometric and orthographic) Representation of geometric and organic objects Perspective representation of isolated or arranged objects based on their surrounding shape. Mastery of scale, proportion, structure, shape and relationship between elements. Anatomical representation of the human figure¿ Body: proportion, structure and joints. Body: volume, typology and shape. Head and portrait.
  • ObjectivosObjectives
To know the articulation between perception and the representation of the visible world.  Use drawing and the means of representation as instruments of knowledge, interrogation, expression and communication.  Study and apply the perspective to the surrounding reality as well as the development of the ability to correctly represent geometric and organic shapes.  Analyze the way the particularities of reality relate to each other, being able to integrate them into a whole or decompose its elements.  Analyze and represent human anatomy based on graphic reproductions and living model, identifying its dimensions, normalized proportions, structural axes and morphological variations.  Understand and apply the anatomical structure and normalized proportions of the human head, as well as the representation of different facial expressions, based on the analysis of graphic reproductions. Collaborate with the other curricular units.
