    The aim of this CU is to introduce students to drawing and the materials that will enable them to create it, as well as the different techniques.
  • ProgramaProgramme
    Exploration of dry techniques (graphite, coal, coloured pencils, Indian ink pens, watercolor): - Drawing from direct observation of everyday objects (fashion accessories) - Drawings from direct observation of the human figure with draperies - Exploration of wet techniques (watercolors, Indian ink) - Drawing from direct observation of everyday objects (fashion accessories) - Drawings from direct observation of the human figure with draperies - Critical discussions for knowledge and application of the graphic language of observation drawing direct view of objects, the human figure and draperies, with criteria on the level of mastery of different graphic media (dry and wet) to draw the figure with accuracy and verisimilitude human, everyday objects that surround the human figure and the drapery typical of clothing.
  • ObjectivosObjectives
    This UC aims to: 1- The identification, recognition and application of basic drawing terminologies, tools and methods, in a relevant and appropriate way. 2- The development of drawing as an instrument of thought and the improvement of perceptual and visual acuity 3- The understanding of drawing as a mechanical relationship between perception (look) and representation (hand). 4- The identification of the concept of spatial perception and its representation. Notions of size (scale and proportion), distance (breadth and depth), mapping and measurement, full and empty, line and spot. 5- The identification and distinction between drawing strategies: sketch, sketch, study, project, finished and ilustrative. 6- Understanding, analyzing and representing the anatomy of shape, structure and volume.

  • MetodologiaMethodology
    Use of Virtual Reality (VR) - 3D visualization in observational drawing activity: The teacher will present virtual models of clothing, allowing students to visualize in 3D models of some basic pieces of clothing to better understand how to represent the fit and movements of the pieces on the body. Propose Gamification strategies through Creative Challenges: Propose weekly or monthly challenges, such as creating a look inspired by a certain theme or recreating an iconic piece from fashion history. Visits to museums or exhibition spaces: Organize a visit to an artistic exhibition in which students can develop observation drawing, image reading and artistic enjoyment activities.  The tutorial relationship is privileged.
