Sports Sciences
  • ApresentaçãoPresentation
The Exercise and Health curricular unit focuses on group activities and individual activities that are carried out mainly in the context of gyms. The aerobic gymnastics and step methodology is the basis for the development of competences defined for the group activities block. These are essentially based on the theoretical and practical domain of the use of motor skills, musical and choreographic structures, as well as teaching and leadership skills. In the block of individual activities, the fulfillment of the proposed objectives results from the operationalization in a real context (gym/health club) of the syllabus presented, namely, the physical and functional assessment, the cardiorespiratory training, the muscle strength training, the joint mobility training, the movement preparation (warm-up) and the methods for improving body composition.
