ApresentaçãoPresentationThe Communication for Fashion I CU will focus on graphic design and editorial design, enabling students to acquire knowledge of graphic design and editorial standards, giving them the possibility of autonomy in the creation and editing of various contents.

Fundamentals of Communication Design for the development and application of visual identity for fashion production in static and editorial support: - Project methodology aimed at visual identity and editorial development; - Fundamentals of typography - families, structure, design, application; - Fundamentals of static and animated composition - shape / background, symmetry / asymmetry, proportion, balance, movement, synchrony, rhythm; - Color fundamentals - systems and harmonies. 2. Fundamental techniques and tools associated with vector drawing and editorial software, which are necessary for a communication project in the printed and editorial areas. 4. Practical project: idealization and application of graphic identity for fashion collection on static and editorial support

ObjectivosObjectivesThe UC aims to assimilate the basic principles of a Communication Design project in the areas of visual identity for printed support. It seeks to develop aesthetic, conceptual and technical criteria that will allow the execution of a visual identity project for a fashion collection in printed materials. Skills: - Recognize and consistently apply Communication Design concepts for printing, in the areas of typography, color, image, ilustration and static compositions; - Use a methodology adjusted to a visual identity project for static support; - Easily apply the techniques and tools of vector drawing software and motion graphics necessary for the correct expression of the design concept; - Execution of visual identity project for a fashion collection, with expression of the fundamental concepts of Communication Design and technical rigor; - Coherent application of the identity developed in different supports and objects.

MetodologiaMethodologyThis is a theoretical-practical curricula unit that combines lectures on the syllabus with exercises in vector drawing and editorial software. Throughout the semester, practical projects will be developed, discussed and analyzed in class.
