Introduction to Law

  This is an introdutory subject for understanding Law, which allows the presentation of understanding of general bases, both regarding the foundations of law, its sources and regarding its interpretation and integration of gaps.

  1. Introductory notions, social system and law 2. Branches of law 3. Coding 4. The legal norm, notion, structure, characteristic and classification 5. Sources of law: law, custom, usage. Equidity, jurisprudence and fundamental principles of law 6. The theories of law, jusnaturalism and positivism 7. Publications of the law and the vicissitudes of the laws validity 8. Applications of the law over time 9. Interpretation and integration of sources of law and law.

  Pretends provide students with a general understanding of law within the framework of regulation of social life. Provide students with the conceptual knowledge essencial for the study of law and its further development.

• MetodologiaMethodology

  Classes are taught in a theorical-practical way so that the student learns the subjects more objectively and in substance. Constant dialogue and integration are promoted. Assessments will be based in two written test with a weighting of 50% for the resolutions of pratical cases and other oral elements.
