  Provide the acquisition of knowledge on Labor Relations in Portugal, framed in its historical and in the European context, in order to perspective its evolution and impact on Human Resources Management. Skills for development within Human Resource Management activities organizations, concerning the different aspects of employer-worker relations.

The European dimension of industrial relations: The European social policy; The European Social Dialogue. 3. Social concertation and the main organizations representing the interests of employers and workers: business associations and employers associations; workers' committees and trade unions. 4. Collective bargaining. 5.Main topics of the contemporary agenda: the 2030 Agenda. Portugal; The Green Paper on Industrial Relations 2016. Economic change and the inclusive labour market; Duration and organization of working time; The Green Paper on the Future of Work; Digital transition; Education and training; Employment and unemployment; Qualifications and competences; Productivity and remuneration.

  Collective labour relations and industrial relations. Evolution of labour relations in Portugal. Social concertation - the main representative organizations. The social aspect of European integration. The importance of the International Labour Organisation. The digital transition movement.
