    This course aims to frame the role that phenomena such as conflict and negotiation, power and politics, as well as structural characteristics and organizational processes and organizational culture play in the functioning and performance of companies. It discusses the explanatory models associated with different phenomena that condition professional contexts from a strategic human resource management perspective.

    LO1 To theoretically master and know how to use the explanatory models of conflict behaviors, negotiation, and power, as well as the structural factors and the individual, group, and organizational processes that condition them;  LO2 Identify the main concepts inherent to these same phenomena in professional contexts;  LO3 To demonstrate knowledge about the main characteristics of organizational control processes in conjunction with the basic components and determinants of organizational structure;  LO4 Understand the implications of organizational culture on human resource management.

    Students will carry out a literature review, which will be presented and discussed with colleagues in class. All the points on the syllabus will be covered by this type of work, allowing the topics on the syllabus to be shared and deepened in a logic of peer learning, and also allowing training in one of the stages of scientific research.
