ApresentaçãoPresentationThis curricular unit aims to provide an approach to fundamental areas of Organizational Psychology, focusing on key process areas for today's organizations and facilitating the ability to design research and intervention strategies in the areas covered. Additionally, it will allow resizing the intervention, expanding the fields of action of future psychologists in organizations.

ProgramaProgramme1- Organizational Psychology: Theoretical perspectives, methodologies, research domains and fields of application; 2- Historical approach to organizational theories; 3- Contribution of Organizational Psychology to Occupational Health Psychology; 4- Structure and functioning of organizations; 5- Organizational behavior: Individual and interpersonal processes in organizations; 6- Organizational Climate and Culture; 7- Communication in organizations; 8- Innovation and organizational change; 9- Ethics and deontology in the context of work and organizational psychology.

ObjectivosObjectives(O1) Know the definition, nature and object of study of Organizational Psychology; (O2) Clarify the role of Organizational Psychology in the context of human and organizational development; (O3) Identify and characterize the main domains of Organizational Psychology; (O4) Identify and characterize the essential concepts of Organizational Psychology. (O5) Students will be able to develop skills and competencies in terms of the field of action of Organizational Psychology and the role of the organizational psychologist, the dynamics and processes that occur in organizations.

MetodologiaMethodologyConsidering the nature of the curricular unit, the methodological guidance will be developed using expository and interrogative methods, with the possibility of carrying out group dynamics and online quizzes. Continuous assessment will consist of individual work (40%) and practical group work (50%) and class participation (10%). Exam assessment: Written test (100%)
