    In the field of scientific knowledge, Positive Psychology has emerged as one of the newest areas of Psychology, by fostering knowledge about the different aspects related to well-being and personal development, and promoting a solid scientific formation (theoretical, technical and methodological). This curricular unit have crucial importance for the development of knowledge and skills to intervene in terms of health promotion, well-being and quality of life, throughout the developmental path and in different areas of care.

    Provide general training in the field of scientific knowledge in one of the areas emerging from Psychology, Positive Psychology, from an interdisciplinary perspective, introducing knowledge about the different aspects related to the well-being and personal development and promoting a solid scientific formation (theoretical, technical and methodological) basis in the field of Positive Psychology. Students are expected to acquire skills related to knowledge of the theoretical perspective and historical development of Psychology Positive, the understanding of its key concepts, the critical analysis of research that supports its principles, strategies and contexts, and the understanding of social and personal reality in the light of acquired knowledge.
