    1- Introduction to psychological assessment in PT&SO: history, contexts, potential and limits; ethical and deontological considerations 2- Psychological assessment as a process and result: perspectives and challenges of psychological assessment in organizations 3- Basic methodologies in psychological assessment: observation, interview and complementary assessment methods; behavioral interview as a support in psychological assessment 4- Instruments for assessing intelligence and cognitive and neuropsychological functions Personality and psychopathology assessment tools 5- Assessment of job satisfaction and other attitudes towards work Reporting 6- Communication of information 7- Ethical aspects in psychological assessment in occupational contexts Case studies
  • ObjectivosObjectives
    The objectives of the course are framed within the scope of psychological assessment in occupational contexts, seen as an analytical resource that helps professionals in decision making in the most diverse contexts. Thus, the objectives will be to provide students with knowledge about the various models of assessment, contextualized and based on the psychometric rigor of assessment techniques appropriate to the study of behavior in organizational and work contexts. It is intended that they acquire skills to carry out assessments in an occupational context. It is also intended to develop information communication skills, through learning methodologies based on practical cases, and the implications of individual / group psychological assessment for intervention programs and for the assessment of their effectiveness.

  • MetodologiaMethodology
    Theoretical-practical classroom teaching centered on the student and focused on the development of analytical, methodological, reflective, expository and relational skills; Questioning and oriented contextualization of previously prepared bibliography; Use of different methodologies: oral exposure, group dynamics, analysis of scientific articles and / or case studies, etc. The evaluation will include an individual work (50%), consisting of a psychological evaluation report (interview and psychological evaluation instrument); a group work (40%) regarding the practical application and critical reflection on an assessment test, including the analysis of its theoretical foundations, stages of construction, studies on its adaptation and applicability, among others, as well as attendance and participation (objectively defined) (10%).
