ApresentaçãoPresentationThis course aims to introduce students to the field of psychometrics, highlighting the connection between knowledge from psychology and statistics. It is an essential course for the academic and professional training of future psychologists, as it intends to equip students with the scientific, theoretical, and practical knowledge involved in the construction and analysis of the psychometric qualities of assessment measures—fundamental knowledge for psychological assessment, an activity that cuts across different areas of specialization within psychology.

ObjectivosObjectivesLG1. Promote scientific knowledge of aspects related to Psychometrics, from an interdisciplinary perspective, on the different areas that allow the understanding of these processes in the development of methodologies for the study of human behavior, promoting solid scientific training (theoretical, technical and methodological) based on this field of psychological assessment. LG2. Acquisition of skills that allow understanding, within the scope of the fundamentals of psychological assessment, the different stages related to the construction and adaptation of assessment measures. LG3. Identify the objectives and applications of methodologies, understand their main selection criteria, know and qualify their psychometric qualities as well as the procedures used in the construction and adaptation of tests.
