    This course encourages students to develop scientific thinking and skills for conducting scientific research in business management. In addition, it integrates artificial intelligence tools for research and writing monographs and scientific articles according to APA standards.

    S1. Introduction. Epistemology. Principles of scientific knowledge. Deductive and inductive scientific methods. Research and scientific method. Basic concepts in research. The research process. Research ethics. S2. Research methods and techniques. Sources and forms of data collection. Use of artificial intelligence in research. Measures and instruments for data collection. Techniques for developing interview scripts, questionnaires and electronic forms. Research project. Data collection, analysis and interpretation of results. S3. Types of scales and their application in research. Sampling. Statistical techniques for data analysis. Common flaws and biases in scientific research. S4. Development of the framework for the course monograph project with artificial intelligence. Tips for publishing scientific articles in international academic journals.  
  • ObjectivosObjectives
    LG1: Students should identify the steps of the scientific research process and apply the scientific method to developing research projects, ethically integrating artificial intelligence. LG2: Students will learn about bibliographic research methods, using artificial intelligence tools to search for and analyse sources, formulate objectives and hypotheses, research methodologies, and describe samples. LG3: Students can recognise the integral parts of scientific works, such as articles and undergraduate dissertations, and use artificial intelligence to support the formatting and structuring of academic texts. LG4: Students will develop the framework of the undergraduate dissertation project, incorporating artificial intelligence tools for bibliographic research, data analysis and writing.

  • MetodologiaMethodology
    LM1. Theoretical exposition of the main programmatic contents (CP); LM2. Analysis and discussion of cases in the classroom: students will read and analyse scientific works, dissertations and theses in business management. LM3. Work presentation seminars: students will present and discuss scientific work, dissertations and theses with the professor and colleagues in the classroom. LM4. Project-based learning: students will apply the concepts, theories, cases and artificial intelligence tools learned in the classroom to develop the framework for a final course monograph project.
